Concrete Services

Concrete work on a commercial property covers a lot of ground, literally. All Green Management has handled commercial concrete work, from slabs to sidewalks to loading docks, throughout the Mid-Atlantic for more than 30 years.

We make sure that the fundamentals are handled correctly every time: proper site prep, the right reinforcement, and a finish that’s built to handle the property’s actual traffic and load.

Common Concrete Repairs for Commercial Businesses

Concrete Slabs

Concrete slab work provides a strong, long-lasting foundation for the property’s needs. This can include a building pad, equipment pad, or interior floor. AGM can handle the project from start to finish, with site preparation and reinforcement to the pouring, leveling, finishing, and curing stages.

Concrete Sidewalk

By investing in a new sidewalk, you’re not only making a practical improvement but also ensuring that your property is more attractive, safer, and functional for years to come.

Concrete Dock

The condition of a loading dock can directly impact your facility’s efficiency. A damaged, outdated, or undersized dock creates bottlenecks and safety risks for staff and drivers. Replacing or repairing a dock keeps receiving operations running smoothly and supports the facility’s day-to-day volume.

FAQs

How long does concrete need to cure before it can be used?

It depends on the type of material you use, and the weather conditions, however, below is a standard guideline:

  • 24 – 48 hours is safe for light foot traffic
  • 7 days, it reaches about 70% of compressive strength and can hold foot traffic, vehicles (such as a standard car), or even bicycles.
  • 28 days, the concrete is 100% cured and safe for heavy loads
Can a loading dock be repaired instead of fully replaced?

It depends on the extent of the damage. Surface-level cracking or spalling can sometimes be repaired, but structural damage or a dock that no longer meets the facility’s operational needs usually requires replacement.

Do sidewalk repairs need to meet ADA requirements?

Yes, sidewalk and walkway work should always meet current ADA accessibility requirements, which factor into slope, width, and surface specifications during planning. AGM can help make sure this is done correctly.
